The Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI), formerly the Council on Aviation Accreditation (CAA), has been developing outcomes-based criteria for aviation programs that will adapt to a broader spectrum of collegiate aviation degrees. The implementation of the new criteria will be July 2007. We invite you to attend the full-day Outcomes-based Visiting Team & Members Training Workshop Monday, February 19, 2007.
The transition to outcomes-based standards requires a partnership between AABI, the institutions and programs, and visiting team members– mutual responsibility highlights that accrediting organizations, industry representation and those they review depend upon one another in critical ways. We strongly encourage you to attend—bring your colleagues!
We also invite you to a day of fun and camaraderie! On Sunday, February 18th, we will hold the Second Annual President’s Cup Golf Tournament at the beautiful Baytree National Golf Links. The Tournament benefits the CAA Foundation. We invite golfers of all levels (scratch to novice) to join us on the links for a very worthy cause!
The optional ticketed event is a must do! We will be spending an evening at the Kennedy Space Center, Tuesday, February 20th. The Center is located on over 140,000 acres and is not only the busiest launch complex, it is one of only three locations in the world where man has rocketed into space, and the only place where man has gone to the moon. Tickets are limited, so be sure to sign-up early!
We invite you to attend the AABI Winter Meeting in Melbourne!
